HPT Fluid Coolers and Remote Condensers

Applications

Coilmaster fluid coolers are the first choice for process cooling, economizer applications (free cooling), and any requirement for closed-loop cooling systems using water or brine.

With the option of heavier-wall tubing and fin thickness, they can be used for industrial applications where longevity is of primary concern. They are also commonly installed for commercial use in pool dehumidification systems, data centers, and more.

Capabilities Overview

Coilmaster fluid coolers offer a wide range of fan configurations, tube sizes, and control options to meet your needs.

The Coilmaster fluid cooler line offers units ranging from 1 to 14 fans, with the choice of single and double-fan-width units in many models. With vertical air flow as standard, we offer our customers the option of horizontal air flow for many models where there is limited space.

We custom circuit each unit for the operating conditions to ensure optimum performance and energy efficiency. Our offering of 3/8”, ½”, and 5/8” tube options allows us to design for reasonable fluid pressure drops at most any flow rate.

The modular design of the product gives our customers the option of customization for special motors or other unique features that are not a part of the standard unit offering. In addition, our customers can rely on our expertise for factory-installed controls to integrate with any building system or stand-alone controls for capacity control.

What are Fluid Coolers

Fluid coolers are engineered heat rejection solutions designed to remove process heat from closed-loop fluid systems using ambient air. They deliver efficient, water-free cooling without evaporation, chemical treatment, or continuous water use. The result is reliable performance, low maintenance requirements, and reduced operating costs for demanding applications.

When Fluid Coolers are Ideal

Fluid coolers are well-suited for applications requiring efficient, closed-loop, and water-free cooling. Below is when they are most ideal:

  • Industrial process cooling: Delivers reliable heat rejection for demanding process loads.
  • HVAC: Provides efficient cooling support for commercial and industrial systems.
  • Retrofit: Upgrades existing systems with minimal disruption.
  • Water-restricted sites: Enable cooling without ongoing water use.
  • Closed-loop chillers: Protect fluid quality and ensure consistent performance.

Selecting the Right Model: Key Considerations

When selecting a fluid cooler, evaluate these key factors to ensure proper performance and fit:

  • Fluid type: Determines material compatibility and heat transfer needs.
  • Flow rate: Affects cooling efficiency and pressure drop.
  • Ambient conditions: Influence cooling capacity and sizing.
  • Capacity: Must match the system’s maximum heat load.
  • Casing or coil material: Impacts durability and corrosion resistance.
  • Fan type: Controls airflow efficiency and energy use.
  • Noise: Must meet site and regulatory limits.
  • Footprint and space: Must fit the available installation area.
  • Maintenance access: Simplifies servicing and reduces downtime.
